Simon's Kitchens
Simon's required a new brochure style website that would show their bespoke handmade kitchens to their best advantage and bring the site in line with current web standards. The design needed to have both impact and elegance. The site uses large professional photos coupled with a clean, crisp design built with HTML5/CSS3. Interactivity and effects are implemented with unobtrusive Javascript.
Elemental
Elemental sell highly unique vintage retro and antique furniture, so it required a unique yet stylish website for selling online. The owners had firm ideas on the art direction, so the challenge was implementing this in a usable and engaging site, while also integrating with the back end technology programmed in .NET by 53twenty with whom Cleardrop have a close working relationship. Combinations of Flash, Javascript and CSS are used throughout this totally bespoke site.
Colchester United Community Sports Trust
The Colchester United Community Sports Trust manage their website in-house, but wanted a complete refresh of the design and structure of this information rich site. The templates for the site were completely re-coded in XHTML/CSS to aid content management and future expansion, plus a search facility was integrated to aid navigation of the site. The site was further enhanced with the use of unobtrusive Javascript.
Clacton Musical Theatre Society
The Clacton Musical Theatre Society required a web presence that would not only show their incredible 80 year history, but take the society into the future and aid in the running of this registered charity. Using a unique design, the front end is built with HTML5/CSS3, with the back end using PHP. A Blog was also set up and then integrated into the site. Unobtrusive Javascript is used to add interactive elements.
Hospital TV
Having already designed and developed their main site, Cleardrop were asked to do the same for another site for Airwave to promote the Healthcare TV side of their business. It needed a clean, stylish, but usable design suitable for the healthcare professionals that would be the users of the site. The site includes a convenient drop down menu system and an autocomplete/predictive search facility. A PHP back end, HTML5/CSS3 front end and Javascript enhancements were used to build the site.
Show off in Silver
Startup company Show off in Silver approached Cleardrop to design and build this bespoke online store to sell contemporary silver jewellery. A modern stylish site was needed to compliment the products. It uses a custom built PHP back end and content management system, while the front end uses standards compliant XHTML/CSS.
Scrutton Bland Insurance
Financial services company Scrutton Bland required a website for the Insurance Brokerage side of their business. It needed to display a wealth of information on the myriad of insurance products they broker in a simple and effective manner. The site was designed in conjunction with Silverloop and uses PHP, XHTML, CSS and Javascript.
Airwave
Airwave needed to provide information on the digital TV and audio visual services and products which they provide to the Hospitality, Healthcare and Commercial markets. A clean, uncluttered design was required throughout. PHP is used to provide back end functionality, with XHTML/CSS used for the front end.
Animation
This short video shows snippets of animated work completed by Cleardrop, including an animation rich, interactive Flash website created for Ferrero for the Nutella brand and 3D animated bottle concepts for Martini Bianco.
